A recording studio in an Amsterdam warehouse — three rooms, a small team and published opening hours.
Why this studio exists
Soapwoodcoreco is built for captures you can still mix later: enough isolation for vocals, enough air for drums and guitars together. The engineers who quote your session also place the mics.
We are not a label or a plugin brand — we rent time, focus and a consistent signal path. For mix and mastering you can send files only; see mixing and mastering.
The rooms
Live room (42 m²)
Tuned for common band setups: drums behind screens, amps in a corner, sight lines to control.
Iso booths (2)
Compact spaces for lead vocals, doubles or podcast voices, with glass to the live room or hallway.
Control (18 m²)
Nearfields, analogue and digital paths and a calm place to decide on balance.

Team
Maarten van der Berg runs Soapwoodcoreco B.V. and coordinates scheduling and quotes. Sophie Dekker is lead engineer for tracking and mix; Noah Jansen focuses on production and podcasts. Together they cover the services on services.
Address and access
Grote Bickersstraat 74, 1013 KS Amsterdam. Take tram 22 to Haarlemmerplein, then walk about 6 minutes via Haarlemmerdijk. Bus stop Buiten Oranjesluis (lines 18, 21 and 22) is within walking distance.
